Message Yeah, I would expect shipping from Georgia to Washington state to be pretty pricey, as they're at opposite corners of the country. I'm pretty sure most flights to Australia fly out of the west coast, so I'm not sure how much money you're actually gonna be able to save. I'd assume that about half of your freight cost would involve the 2000 mile trek to get your part from the east coast (Georgia) to the west coast (Washington). But I'm just guessing.

I've used Forward Air ([ www.forwardair.com ]) in the past for shipping large arcade machines and their rates were pretty reasonable, about $150 to ship a 250 lb palette across the country. The only problem is that they don't do on-site pickup. You have to actually deliver your item to their terminal near the airport. And Z1 is almost an hour drive away from the Forward Air terminal, which is right near the Atlanta airport (ATL).

I'm not really sure if that helps you at all, but I figured I'd throw it out there since I'm sure that researching foreign shipping companies can't be all that easy.
